Hi John,
I recently reached out to our supporters asking for support in launching the next phase of our campaign to stop big corporations using secretive corporate courts in trade deals for their profit-driven agenda.
So far, we've had a great response. It's truly inspiring to witness so many people coming together to protect people and planet from toxic trade systems. Bringing down the corporate court system is no small task. Yet, we are living proof that unity leads to success  as demonstrated by our recent victory in pushing the UK out of the dangerous Energy Charter Treaty. But to be successful in the next phase of the campaign, we need even more people on board.
There’s no doubt about it: a green transition away from fossil fuels is absolutely necessary. But we need to ensure that the transition to clean energy doesn’t deepen existing global inequalities. And our research shows that mining companies are increasingly using corporate courts to threaten and bully countries where the metals and minerals needed for renewable technologies are found, to gain control and secure huge profits.
Will you be a part of our campaign's next chapter demanding an end to the corporate court system by donating £5? Your support will empower us to lobby politicians, ignite public interest, and ultimately dismantle corporate courts. Together, we’ll ensure the transition to clean energy is a just one for all.
Yes, I'll donate
Thank you for your consideration and continued support.
Best wishes,

Hi John,
We recently achieved a huge milestone in our campaign. The UK government is withdrawing from the climate-wrecking Energy Charter Treaty (ECT), used by fossil fuel giants to sue governments through corporate courts over much-needed policies to phase out oil, coal and gas.
But our fight isn't over. As the world wakes up to the urgent need for the green transition, corporations are exploiting other trade deals with corporate courts to threaten and bully countries and communities where minerals like copper, lithium, and nickel are found – all of which are vital for renewable technologies – to gain control of these resources and secure huge profits.
We can't let this continue. The green transition shouldn’t be dictated by giant profit-hungry corporations. We need as many people as possible on board with our campaign to end corporate courts for good and ensure a fair green transition. With global temperatures rising and the momentum for change growing, we can’t afford not to.
We need your support. Can you donate £5 to propel our campaign into its next phase, targeting the rush for critical minerals? Your contribution will enable us to lobby politicians, raise public awareness, and ultimately abolish corporate courts, ensuring the transition to clean energy is a just one for all.
Yes, I'll donate
Mexico is fighting corporate mining – and it’s not alone. Lithium is a shiny, silvery metal, and key to renewable technologies. Mexico recently took the bold move to nationalise its lithium supply. It can now draw benefits from this resource for its own people, rather than turning profits for foreign corporations.
But mineral mining giants are fighting back. They are threatening to sue Mexico through the corporate court system because nationalisation jeopardises their huge profits. Other countries like Chile, Indonesia and Panama are also standing up to unjust trade mechanisms which try to block them from determining how best to develop their own resources and build more equal economies.
With demand for new sources of clean energy growing around the world, it's crucial to expose corporate courts and ensure our leaders act to make sure the green transition is a globally just one.
Can you donate today to help lobby politicians and raise public awareness, as part of the next vital step of our campaign, so the UK is forced to drop corporate courts?

The global movement fighting corporate courts is strong. An arbitration lawyer recently admitted, “We have lost the battle of public opinion," on corporate courts, and, "to a large extent, the battle of legitimacy".
Time and again, supporters like you have taken action to stop corporate courts, alongside activists worldwide. And we are winning. Many countries, including the US, South Africa, Pakistan and Australia, are already taking them out of their trade deals.
Yet the UK is pushing for corporate courts to be included in its trade deal with India, and has just signed up to the Pacific trading bloc, which extends this trade rule to another eleven countries. We’ve succeeded in getting the UK out of the ECT. Now we need your help to build on this win and ensure it drops corporate courts for good by kicking off the next phase of our campaign.
With your donation, we can grab the public’s attention by exposing corporate profiteering in the green transition. Media exposure and research efforts will aid in persuading politicians of all stripes to reject this outdated system. Together with our global allies, we can build a formidable international movement capable of securing victory. Join us in shaping a fairer future for all.

P.S. Big business is using corporate courts to monopolise the critical minerals needed for the green transition. Can you help the next phase of our campaign to end corporate courts?
