Andre Carroll, our candidate for Pennsylvania House District 201, announced a big endorsement: Philadelphia City Councilmember Rue Landau is endorsing his campaign! Rue made history as the first out LGBTQ+ person elected to the Philly City Council in 2023.
SCOTUS Weighs in on Trans Rights
The Supreme Court issued a ruling last week on Idaho’s ban on gender-affirming care, largely reinstating the ban. Both Vox and Erin in the Morning have excellent breakdowns detailing the immediate impact on Idaho’s trans kids and families (it’s devastating) – and the implications for trans rights nationwide.
Our candidate Nikson Mathews – who will be the first out trans person elected in Idaho – posted resources and rallied his community. He also called for more LGBTQ+ representation in the state house – we couldn’t agree more! Nikson previously testified against the state’s recent slate of anti-trans bills.
