Greetings #TeamAlsobrooks!
Another amazing week in the books on the campaign trail. As we get closer and closer to election day our support across the state grows. Now more than ever we need your help to get Angela across the finish line victoriously! So join us by letting all your friends and neighbors know about Angela, making calls, and knocking on doors. With only 26 days left until May 14 we need to give it everything to win this thing.
In case you missed it, here’s what’s been happening for the past week on the campaign trail and beyond:
🚨ENDORSEMENT ALERT🚨
Yesterday, Angela was endorsed by The Washington Post!!! This endorsement shows that our grassroots movement has the momentum and energy needed to win this primary and keep Maryland blue!
Take a look here for the full endorsement!
The first Black woman ever to serve as Prince George’s county executive, Ms. Alsobrooks, 53, possesses a down-to-earth personal perspective and ample seasoning as a public official. She has been a fiscally responsible steward through the pandemic and a champion of economic development in areas historically left behind. She helped make the case for moving the FBI headquarters to Greenbelt. She worked out a deal with Mr. Hogan when he was governor for up to $400 million in state bonds to ensure redevelopment along Prince George’s five-mile Blue Line Corridor even if the Washington Commanders leave their stadium. She embraced innovative public-private partnerships to construct 10 new schools.
🚨DEBATE WATCH🚨
Tune in tonight at 8PM LIVE on FOX 45 and ABC 7 for our first televised debate! We hope you’ll tune in and hear about how Angela will fight for you and your family in Washington.

From the Campaign Trail:
What a great time visiting with seniors at Friends House Retirement Community in Sandy Spring! Our seniors pay thousands of dollars into retirement programs like Medicare and Social Security.
We had a great time at the AFL-CIO Reception! Our country is stronger when our unions are strong. Expanding protections for working people and ensuring their rights are protected is one of our top priorities once we get to Capitol Hill.
We had a fantastic time being back at the Western Maryland Democratic Summit in Allegany County. Angela is committed to fighting for Marylanders from all zip codes to bring opportunities to our great State!
What a great start to our Sunday morning, joining folks in fellowship at Redeemers Church of Christ in Lanham. Thank you to Senior Pastors, Dr. Kobby Sarpong and Mrs. Elizabeth Sarpong for inviting us to church and introducing us to an incredible congregation.
Catherine and Ike Leggett brought together an amazing group of folks in Burtonsville. We discussed the importance of working across the aisle to lower costs and deliver relief from the strain so many are feeling at the tank and in the grocery store and finished the evening with some delicious #TeamAlsobrooks cookies! Great to see Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich.
What a fantastic kick off to the week with a great turnout at our third stop on our All in for Angela Tour in Howard County. Our people powered movement will determine this election, proving that Marylanders can’t be bought.
We had a great time with a group of seniors at Jericho Residences where we discussed the importance of protecting Medicare and Social Security benefits.
Thank you to the Jewish Community Relations Council for inviting us to discuss the Senate race. It was an absolute treat getting to talk to so many Marylanders about our plans in the Senate.
Each and every one of us deserve to feel represented in the halls of Congress. When more voices are included, our policies become more complete. Once she is Senator, Angela will fight like everything for Marylanders of all backgrounds. What an honor to share the stage with Glynda Carr and Tasha Cole at the Black Women Lead Conference. Thank you so much for inviting us and helping to inspire the next generation of leaders.
The energy we’ve been feeling from Marylanders across the State has been so empowering, and it's clear that Team Alsobrooks is fired up! We were back in Queen Anne’s County meeting with folks and chatting about what we plan to accomplish in the US Senate. Thank you to everyone who came out!
