Weekly Newsletter: How our commonsense champions are battling to pass crucial aid for Ukraine and Israel

<<<PROBLEM-SOLVING LEADERS ARE FIGHTING FOR COMMONSENSE SOLUTIONS. SIGN ON HERE TO SHOW THEM SUPPORT>>> ([link removed] )

Hi John,

Tomorrow is a pivotal moment: The House will finally vote on providing vital aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. This decision has been stalled for months by a small group of extremists. But Congress now has a chance to show that we still stand with our allies in their moment of need.

House Speaker Mike Johnson is showing commendable leadership bringing this critical legislation to a vote, but Representatives like Brian Fitzpatrick, Jared Golden, Ed Case and Don Bacon really deserve our special applause today. They have pushed relentlessly for a bipartisan solution and even wrote their own bill – “Defending Borders, Defending Democracies Act” – that ended up significantly shaping the legislation that Speaker Johnson is putting on the floor tomorrow.

As bad as things get in Washington, it’s a reminder there are still good leaders trying to do the right thing. No Labels is proud to stand with courageous House members like these, now and in the months to come.

If you need a reminder of why it’s so important for No Labels’ members to support these leaders look no further than what’s happening in Brian Fitzpatrick’s district, where voters are now getting mailers trashing him for “betraying” Trump and working with Biden. The kicker? A dark money Democratic group sent it because they’d rather face Fitzpatrick’s far-right primary opponent in the general election. It’s such hypocrisy from people who claim to defend democracy.

But it is the kind of behavior that’s becoming increasingly common in both parties, who are willing to say or do almost anything if they think it will win them a short-term advantage in a campaign.

But with your support, we can continue to back brave leaders who dare to solve problems through cooperation and common sense. As Mark McKinnon said so clearly this week in the inaugural episode of our new No Labels Talks podcast – which you can view here ([link removed] ) – now’s the time for our movement to suit up and show that we’re not backing down.

No Labels Didn’t Fail ([link removed] )

 By Mike Rawlings

No Labels exposed the need and the desire for another option, and for the first time ever, we proved that the infrastructure can be built to introduce new and unifying leaders into our electoral system. That’s a win for America. Now we just need leaders of courage and vision to finish the job. They’ll come. In the meantime, let’s work together to unite America and put our country over our parties.

What Was Won in No Labels’ Crusade ([link removed] )

By Holly Page

No Labels and the common-sense majority voters we represent now define the center of American politics. Our commitment to those voters is that we will use the two things that allowed us to break through in this bleak political season – innovation and agility – to continue to fight for them.
