The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in 2022 has opened the door to a flood of extreme anti-abortion legislation across the country.

While abortion access remains protected under the law in Maryland, women across the country are at risk of losing access to safe and affordable abortion and reproductive healthcare.

Congress must act with urgency to protect abortion rights.

As Baltimore County Executive, I’ve stood firmly against any attempts to limit abortion and reproductive healthcare access here in Maryland, including refusing to cooperate with abortion prosecutions from other states.

I’m fighting for a future where every woman can make their own reproductive healthcare decisions–not some out-of-touch politicians in Washington.
