Today I’m not reaching out for myself, but for my colleague Democratic Congressman Max Rose.
John,
Today I’m not reaching out for myself, but for my colleague Democratic Congressman Max Rose.
His district, Staten Island, is one of the communities hit hardest by the COVID-19 virus. Seeing the opportunity to serve his country again and to help his district on the ground -- Max decided to deploy with the National Guard to assist with coronavirus relief efforts.
Max’s entire career has centered around serving our country, both in the military and in the non-profit sector where he worked to help underserved communities. In 2018, he flipped New York’s 11th Congressional District, a Republican stronghold for years.
Public servants like Max who put country before self are exactly the kind of leaders we need in Congress.
Max is facing a tough re-election this November. Will you join me in supporting Max by making a split contribution to Max’s campaign and Defense Dem PAC to help hold his swing seat and elect more Democratic veterans in battleground districts?
Working with Congressman Rose, I’ve seen his determination to stand up for working people, fix our healthcare system, and hold Donald Trump accountable.
For him to see what’s happening in his community right now and decide to put himself on the frontlines -- that’s leadership.
But Donald Trump won NY-11 by nearly 10 points, and Max will need our help to continue serving our country in Congress. If you’re able, please donate anything you can to help us ensure Max holds this seat →
Thank you for your help,
Elaine
