I had a blast getting the opportunity to share my vision for a better Baltimore with voters across the city at the WBAL Debate this week!
Unfortunately, the incumbent has decided that he must go negative and attack my record as an educator in order to win.
I am proud of my work supporting Batlimore’s public schools and lifting up our students to build a better future for our children—whether it’s working with our local partners to launch Field Trip Fridays and provide additional educational programming when our schools could no longer provide summer school programs on Fridays or launching the Patterson Pop-up Splash Pad to keep our kids cool when the pool was unable to open.
Our campaign is focused on bringing the community together and delivering real solutions to the issues we face. Together, we’ve built a diverse coalition of support unlike any that Baltimore has ever seen as we work towards a brighter future for our great city.
Baltimore deserves leaders who fight for our city, not against each other.
I refuse to get caught up in petty political battles and take attention away from the real issues that Baltimoreans care about most, but I need your help to stay above board. Can I count on you to chip in $5 to my campaign for Baltimore City Council President and help us reach our $5,000 post-debate goal to ensure we have what it takes to win?
