The sewer, known as Washington, D.C., is now operating like an open checkbook, but there's no accountant on duty. Instead, we've got a feeble leader in the White House who's mentally unfit, and if we don't seize back control soon, we're barreling straight for disaster.
If you haven’t already heard, Congress will be holed up here in the Capitol this weekend, throwing your money around to provide billions in foreign aid to Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel.
As I’ve said before, I support funding for Israel because it is our greatest ally and friend in the Middle East—and I also recognize the urgency of the situation as Iran becomes a heightened threat.
But I need to see more evidence for the rest of this aid bonanza—it just doesn't add up to me, and it sure as heck doesn't make sense to the American people either.
Consider the unchecked $114 billion we’ve already funneled into Ukraine. With that money, we could have built the wall 10 times over to curb the chaos unfolding at our southern border. We could have given every homeless veteran a million dollars. For Pete’s sake, we could have fixed the water troubles in Flint, Michigan to ensure our own citizens have the most basic necessities to survive.
But instead, the crooked politicians up here in Washington want to hand out your hard-earned tax dollars with zero accountability. News flash: Somebody’s getting rich off all this—and it isn’t you and me.
It’s time for Americans to turn off The View (and every other woke talking head in the media), do some homework, and give serious thought to who we’re electing this year.
The decisions being made on Capitol Hill are utterly out of touch with the struggles of everyday Americans. While America will always extend a helping hand to other nations, times like these demand a heightened scrutiny of how our tax dollars are being spent. Going forward, our public servants must prioritize serving the American people, ensuring our interests come first before anything else.
2024 is our chance to demand change, but we must make bold choices at the ballot box. Failure to do so will only lead to history repeating itself, and frankly, we cannot afford to let that happen.
