Here’s what you’re helping accomplish right here on the ground.

We know that so many folks are going through a challenging time right now. If you’d like to hit pause on these emails while this crisis is at its worst, just let us know here.

Team, we launched Commonwealth, Common Health to make it easier for Kentuckians to help our most vulnerable neighbors weather this crisis.

I’m so proud and moved by how our volunteers have sprung into action. Over 150 of you have offered up some of your time—and your help is already making a difference.

One of our volunteers, Meredith, responded to someone who reached out in need of distilled water for a CPAP machine. Meredith went out and found some and was able to deliver it.

We heard from a woman who’s without a car and who is worried—like so many people are right now—about keeping fresh food in her house as the current situation stretches on. Caitrin on our team connected her with a volunteer who committed to make a grocery run for her every other week while social distancing is being practiced in Kentucky.

This help matters. And as this crisis goes on, as needs multiply across our state and country, it will matter even more.

If you’d like to help, no matter where you live, you can make a donation to the Commonwealth, Common Health Food Bank Relief Fund to make sure food banks have critical resources during this crisis.

Thank you,
Amy
