John, it's Andy, the Executive Director of the Kansas Dems, and I want to make one thing clear:
Democrats in Kansas will always work to put Kansas values first.
That's why we came to the defense of abortion rights and reproductive freedom by stopping two bills endangering the right to choose last week.
After Kansans had their say in 2022, Kansas Democrats have been listening to what the people want, while extremists continue to push an unpopular agenda. Before I tell you why this is going to be the deciding factor for many voters this year, could you chip in to help us protect reproductive rights in Kansas? [[link removed]]

John, the vast majority of Kansans believe a family's reproductive health care decisions should be between them and their doctor, and Kansas Democrats believe that those values should be reflected in our laws – but extremists in our legislature continue to push bill after bill condemning reproductive freedom.
These kinds of bills harm Kansas in more ways than one John:
For our families: The bills violate their privacy, their right to family planning, and can eventually cause sickness or death due to inadequate care.
For our providers: Regressive policies that place blame on care providers ultimately discourages them from practicing effectively or even in Kansas at all.
For our state: With fewer providers willing to practice, there will be more hospital closures, higher infant and maternal mortality rates for Kansas, and a shortage of doctors.
John, Kansans already made their position clear. This shouldn't be a debate anymore, yet year after year extremists continue to push the limits. It's time we get them out of our bodies and out of our legislature.
Reproductive healthcare access was a winning issue in the past, and – with the far-right's current stance – it's an issue we can win on again in 2024.
John, the Kansas Dems know that if we can get the message out about how common-sense Democrats are leading the way to protect reproductive freedom, breaking the supermajorities in the legislature will be possible this fall. Can you chip in to help us spread the word and keep fighting to uplift Kansas voices in the state legislature? [[link removed]]
