I've worn many hats in my career. I served as Chief of Staff of NASA under President Barack Obama, created hundreds of jobs here in the Antelope Valley, and co-founded an organization dedicated to combating wildfires on the West Coast.

Unlike my opponent Mike Garcia, I’m not a career politician.

Some “experts” might call this a bad idea, but I’ve made it a point not to shy away from tough conversations when I’m on the campaign trail – whether we’re talking about issues like mental health, the economy, even border security.
