The truth is that for hundreds of thousands of immigrant youth who were shut out of the program after Judge Hanen’s ruling in 2021 — and millions more undocumented people who were never eligible — DACA was never enough. ❌
United We Dream Action is leading the charge to win a pathway to citizenship for immigrant youth and all undocumented people. The advocacy efforts of immigrant youth and allies culminated in winning DACA. Even despite its shortcomings, DACA is still a reminder of the power our community has to win real change.
In our ongoing fight for permanent protections, we’ll need to come together and work even harder to win our demands — 📣 hosting Weeks of Action across the country, 🤝 meeting with members of Congress and the Biden administration, 🗣 and doing whatever it takes to secure a pathway to citizenship.
