Moms Demand Action is a national grassroots movement founded after the tragic Sandy Hook shooting. They have dedicated volunteer chapters in every state, including Michigan and Washington, D.C.

Moms Demand Action is a vital part of Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest organization in the nation focused on preventing gun violence, with nearly 10 million supporters.

In line with 81% of the nation, I support universal background checks, federal research on firearm injuries and deaths, and safe storage laws.

I am also a proponent of mental health initiatives, ending immunity for firearm companies, and implementing waiting periods.
