Tomorrow, my colleagues in Congress want to vote to send over $26 billion of our tax dollars to Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu as he carries out the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

Our country isn’t just complicit in this genocide—we’re actively participating in it.

Every year our country spends billions of tax dollars, which help maintain Israel’s apartheid policies and support the continued ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

Over many years, the U.S. has shielded Israel’s government from any accountability as it violates international laws. And this week, President Biden’s administration just vetoed a motion to grant Palestine full membership in the United Nations (UN), undermining their claims to support Palestinians’ self-determination.

Netanyahu continues to escalate the risk of a regional war by consistently violating international law. For the entire world’s sake, we must avoid this. For the sake of the children in Gaza and our future humanity, we must demand peace instead of endless war.
