Save the Children Action Network is the political voice for kids.
John, we’ve been fighting to build a better Farm Bill for well over a year now.
Congress is finally getting ready to release it, but some decisions are still up in the air – ones that could take lifesaving aid from millions of children.
Kids around the world rely on lifesaving Food for Peace programs to stave off severe hunger, John.
Damaging them could put countless lives in imminent danger. Please, send an URGENT message to Congress today. [[link removed]]

Hi John, 148 million children under 5 won’t have enough to eat today.
Clementine* does all she can to stave off malnutrition, collecting foliage to fill her grandkids’ empty stomachs. But cassava leaves can’t beat hunger – in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or any other food-insecure country.
“Sometimes, we sleep hungry,” Clementine says. “Only God knows how I’ll be able to provide for them.”
Families like hers are why the world needs the Farm Bill. One of its most critical programs is under threat – and we have to protect it. [[link removed]]
We’ve talked about Food for Peace before, John. It’s the Farm Bill’s biggest international food aid program, providing emergency relief and helping communities feed themselves.
But lawmakers are pushing legislation that could damage this lifesaving assistance – even as families like Clementine’s are facing a global hunger crisis.
Support saved her grandson, Gabriel*, from severe malnutrition. Now, he’s starting to babble and play again, all because he got urgent care.
Every child deserves the same second chance, John. Please, tell Congress to protect Food for Peace. [[link removed]]
Thanks for being a voice for kids,
