President Biden recently announced he would forgive debts for millions more student loan borrowers.
I support this initiative. It will put money back into people’s pockets and give student loan borrowers in Virginia and nationwide the much-needed breathing room they deserve. - Expand access to Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
- Provide financial counseling to students and their families on the front end.

Expand dual enrollment and early college high school programs.
- Make it easier to transfer from community colleges to four-year schools.
Taking steps like these to lower costs for American families is one of my highest priorities — whatever we can do to make it a little easier for middle-class Americans to live and thrive is a win in my book.
