** Happy April!

At the end of March, the Department of Justice sued Apple for monopolization of smartphone markets. Ziven Havens, BMP's Policy Director, joined a letter with other leading conservatives in support of these actions. The letter reads, "We find that the DOJ’s action in filing an antitrust lawsuit against Apple is appropriate and necessary to ensure the company complies with federal law. Apple has proven unwilling to make changes to its monopolistic business model in good faith, and competitors and consumers alike continue to pay the price."

Bull Moose Project is proud to announce another slate of endorsed candidates.

Chris Lonsdale is currently running for reelection to Missouri's 38th House District. Consistently putting his constituents first, he will continue to do great things!

Joe Picozzi is running for Pennsylvania State Senate District 5. As a former US House staffer, he knows firsthand how to address critical issues. The people of northeast Philadelphia deserve a representative who will relentlessly advocate for them.

Jared Cannon is running for reelection to West Virginia's 21st House District. As Chair of the committee on AI, he is uniquely positioned to address 21st-century issues.

Josh Holstein is running for reelection to West Virginia's 32nd House District. Holstein is one of the most proactive legislators across the country, introducing 40 bills this legislative session.
Ever since President Trump left office inflation has been out of control and real wages have remained flat for too many Americans. The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act is bipartisan legislation that would return more tax dollars back to hard-working Americans and give tax incentives for businesses of all sizes. When put together, the provisions in this new tax deal will help extend President Trump’s most significant contributions from his
2017 tax deal before they expire completely.

Families cannot afford inaction from the U.S. Senate. It’s time to pass the bill!
Recently, we launched Action Centers. Starting with Tech and Healthcare, we seek to provide resources to educate Americans on critical issues in addition to finding those advocates who are willing to take the next step and make their voices heard. In the coming months, we will be working to add more action centers on a host of issues.

Congressman Nick Langworthy (R-NY) led a letter with 18 other House Republicans demanding answers to CCP-linked bird flu research. The letter specifically asks USDA Secretary Vilsack about what oversight and biosafety measures are being taken for this research.

Rep. Langworthy has introduced the Child Exploitation and Artificial Intelligence Expert Commission Act of 2024.
This bill establishes a congressional commission tasked with investigating and assessing how AI may be used in the commission of a child exploitation crime, how law enforcement can prevent and address child exploitation crimes, and recommend solutions to address these issues.
BMP's Policy Director Ziven Havens endorsed this bill saying, "...We cannot let kids fall victim to harmful technology again like we did with social media. The Bull Moose Project thanks Rep. Langworthy for taking this action, and emphatically endorses this bill. We will work tirelessly to see the commission up and running."

What to read
Senator JD Vance has anew op-ed in NYT ([link removed]) arguing that the math doesn’t add up for Ukraine Funding, "The Biden administration has no viable plan for the Ukrainians to win this war. The sooner Americans confront this truth, the sooner we can fix this mess and broker for peace."

Sam Mangold-Lenett, a Staff Editor at The Federalist wrote about East Palestine, Ohio ([link removed]) , and argued it was screwed over long before the train derailment, "East Palestine — and countless other places like it — has been strip-mined by the prevailing ethos of the American ruling class. Prioritizing financialization over domestic manufacturing, the industrial engine of small-town America was shipped abroad piece by piece until virtually nothing was left."
