Your Democratic leaders in Connecticut have been hard at work to produce real results for Nutmeggers like you. Here are a few highlights:

Rep. Rosa Delauro is an undeniable force for Connecticut and our country. Her recent win of securing an additional $1 BILLION dollars in federal funding for HeadStart and childcare programs will make a huge impact on the lives of low-income and working families.
 
Our federal delegation also secured an additional $64 million for projects around the state, aiding towns in infrastructure projects, non-profits on expansions, and community groups with support for programs that help families across Connecticut. Thanks to our Democratic Representatives, we’ll be: 

• Building a new senior center in Meriden
• Upgrading and developing affordable housing in Eastern Connecticut
• Supporting a pantry in Hartford that serves immigrant families with food, clothing, and baby needs
• Making renovations to Boys and Girls Clubs in Milford, New Haven, and Stamford
• And many more invaluable projects that support our state!

And all of this happened in just the past month. Democrats in Connecticut are paving the way for a sustainable future that addresses the core needs and concerns of our citizens–both here at home and across the country.
