Ethical Society of Police Endorses Ashcroft for Governor

I was incredibly honored to receive the endorsement of the Ethical Society of Police (ESOP) at a press conference at their offices yesterday.

The men and women of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department deserve the support, resources, and leadership they need to keep residents, businesses, and the community safe.

As Governor, I am committed to hiring 1,000 new police in my first year, providing state control of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, ensuring truth in sentencing, investing in mental health, and reducing recidivism.

But that starts with listening to the men and women who wear the badge and ESOP will be my partner in making sure we do what is necessary to bring St. Louis back.
