It’s hard to believe, but just one year ago, I jumped in the race to represent Rhode Island’s First Congressional District.
|
Many people considered me a long shot in the campaign. But I believed then, and still believe now, that my experience working for two presidents and a governor paired with our shared Rhode Island story would make an impression on people through our district. |
Now, I have the biggest honor of my life serving Rhode Islanders in Congress for nearly the last six months. |
Despite the extremism-driven dysfunction that we see on our TV and social media, I know that government has the potential to work for all of us — because I have made it work.
|
I remain committed to the fight for jobs in the supply chains of the future, affordable housing and increased home ownership, protecting our communities from senseless gun violence, guaranteeing reproductive freedom across our states, preserving our democracy, and combating the climate crisis. |
Will you consider chipping in today to help us continue our working towards a solutions-oriented Congress? |
