Arlington, VA - The GOPAC Election Fund, a national group supporting the
election of Republican state leaders to Congress, is launching independent
expenditures to assist Ryan Mackenzie in Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional
District and Riley Moore in West Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District.

The planned five-figure efforts include:
* Digital advertising: Programmatic digital and social media ads to
likely Republican primary voters.

* Text alerts to likely Republican primary voters to vote early,
absentee, or on Election Day.

GOPAC Chairman David Avella noted: “We are committed to electing pragmatic,
governing conservatives to Congress. Because of their focus on personal and
economic security, Ryan and Riley have earned the endorsement of GOPAC's
Mission Majority program. Both will prove to be valuable additions to our
House Republican Majority.”

Background on PA-07 and WV-02:

PA-07: This district is centered in the Lehigh Valley and the area around
Allentown. The Democrat incumbent, Susan Wild, was first elected in 2018
and has been a top target of Republicans in each cycle since. In 2022, Wild
won a close race with barely 51% of the vote. The primary is on April
23rd.

WV-02: This district encompasses all of northern West Virginia, including
the Eastern Panhandle. This is a safe Republican district being vacated by
Rep. Alex Mooney. With a victory in his competitive primary, State
Treasurer Riley Moore will be the heavy favorite in the general election.
The primary is on May 14th.

2024 class of Emerging Leaders. Nominated by the legislative leadership in
their state, these legislators have demonstrated promise in positively
impacting their state and rising within the Republican ranks.

to build a roster of State Republicans who are focused on ideas to advance

The prestigious GOPAC Emerging Leaders Program is a year-long initiative to
educate the next generation of Republican legislators. The Program equips

State Sen. Carrasco named 'emerging leader' by national Republican training

A local lawmaker has been named an "emerging leader" by a national
Republican training organization.

State Sen. Cyndi Carrasco, R-Indianapolis, is one of 29 legislators from
across the U.S. named in GOPAC's 2024 class of Emerging Leaders. Nominated
by the legislative leadership in their states these legislators have
"demonstrated promise in positively impacting their state and rising within
the Republican ranks," according to a news release.

State Representative Quang Nguyen Named Among Nation's Emerging Leaders

Arizona State Representative Quang Nguyen is among a select group of
Republican legislators nationwide chosen for GOPAC's 2024 Class of Emerging
Leaders, an honor which recognizes a member's strong sense of service,
purpose, and effective leadership in the State Legislature.

The GOPAC Emerging Leaders Program is an annual initiative designed to
develop the next generation of Republican leadership. Candidates are
nominated by their state's legislative leaders and chosen by GOPAC for
their potential to effect positive changes in their states and rise within
Republican ranks. Since his election to the Legislature four years ago,
Representative Nguyen has compiled an impressive record of impactful

Congressional job approval is at historic lows with Gallup's latest rating
at a dismal 15-81 approve-disapprove. A recent survey of Congressional
staff by the Congressional Management Foundation revealed significant
frustration on Capitol Hill, but also a few bright spots.

1.) The desire for bipartisanship still exists. There was broad agreement
among staff respondents that it is necessary for Senators and
Representatives to collaborate across party lines to best meet the needs of
the nation (97% agreed). About two-thirds (65%) strongly agreed. This
agreement was bipartisan, with 98% of Republicans and 96% of Democrats
agreeing. There is also agreement that it is necessary for staffers to
collaborate across party lines for Congress to function effectively, with
98% agreeing with this statement (67% strongly agreed). Similar to views
about Members, this view about staff was shared by Republicans (96% agreed)
and Democrats (98% agreed).
