Hi John — here are some snippets from a recent New York Times article that we thought you’d be interested in:
- “Control of the U.S. House of Representatives, at this point in the election cycle, is anybody’s guess.”
- “Right now, the House is divided by just one or two votes, with Republicans clinging to the slimmest of majorities.”
- “California is a key battleground in the fight for the House majority in 2024.”
If you’re concerned about control of the U.S. House, there has never been a more consequential moment to be a California Democrat. The House Majority is going to come down to us. That’s why we are establishing our Swing Seat Fund and working to raise $10,050 before the banks close at 5pm PT tomorrow. Will you pitch in a donation?

But the New York Times didn’t leave it at that, John. They clearly laid out all the Republican California districts that they believed could flip to blue and help decide control of the U.S. House. Here they are:
→ CA-40
→ CA-45
→ CA-22
→ CA-13
→ CA-27
That’s A LOT of districts we need to invest in to flip the U.S. House. And those are on top of all our vulnerable Democratic incumbents we need to get reelected.
That’s why we are establishing our Swing Seat Fund and working to raise $10,050 before the banks close tomorrow at 5pm PT. Can we count on you to pitch in $35 or more before our deadline? Together, we will take back the U.S. House and fire Speaker Mike Johnson.
