First of all, I want to thank you for everything you've done
to fight against the GOP's health care repeal. Millions of
Americans from every corner of this country made calls, sent
emails and letters, rallied, and protested. It's because of
your energy that Mitch McConnell was forced to put off the
repeal vote -- and that's a big deal.

But that wasn't all that happened this week.

Yesterday, after a Supreme Court ruling on Monday, part of
Donald Trump's hateful and un-American Muslim ban went into
effect.

Earlier in the week, Donald Trump's EPA began rolling back
President Obama's clean water rule, opening up our drinking
water to polluters. And it was reported earlier this
year that EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt overruled scientists
and blocked an effort to ban a toxic pesticide -- after
meeting with the CEO of Dow Chemical.

That doesn't mean we shouldn't have been focused on
defending health care -- in fact just the opposite. Donald
Trump and his Republican allies in Congress want to undo all
the progress we've made and fundamentally change the
direction our country is going in, so we cannot let up for
even a second.

We're on the right side of history, Samuel. We just have to
keep our resistance going strong -- on health care, on the
environment, on religious freedom, and everything else.
