The "gun show loophole" has allowed 20,000 gun dealers to avoid running
background checks when they sell firearms.

President Biden is doing as much as he can to enact commonsense gun policy. But
it's up to Congress to pass a law and expand background checks even further.

In 2022, we passed the most significant gun violence prevention law in decades,
but we need to keep working until we've ended the scourge of gun violence once
and for all.
