Friends, let’s talk about this November’s elections and this moment in our history.

You read that right — this is a law that was enacted in 1864.
This comes just days after the Florida Supreme Court ruled that it would allow a six-week abortion ban to go into effect.
There’s one person who bears the blame for these cruel laws: Donald Trump.
In 2016, Trump ran for president on a promise of appointing Supreme Court Justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade. He said explicitly that if he were elected, Roe would be overturned — and he followed through on his promise.
Now, Trump is trying to run away from this issue because he (correctly!) sees the issue of reproductive rights as an existential threat to the GOP’s electoral prospects.
And here’s the truth: If Trump is elected this November and brings with him a GOP majority in the Senate, he will ban abortion nationwide.
This November, we must hold the Senate and Presidency, take back the House, and then pass legislation to protect women's reproductive freedoms.
Please join me today by contributing to my campaign. Your support right now will go directly toward this effort to protect reproductive freedom. Can I count on you for a $20 donation? [[link removed]]
