North Carolina will be among the most competitive swing states in November’s elections, at every level of the ballot. Democratic candidates are running in every single state Senate district in a bid to break the GOP’s supermajority, our gubernatorial race is the most competitive in the nation and Republicans’ path to retaking the White House runs through our state.
If the GOP wins, they’ll roll back our fundamental rights and freedoms, defund our public schools, and undermine our democracy.
We HAVE to ensure Democrats can win.
But Republicans aren’t making it easy for us. They’ve used their supermajority to enact blatantly anti-democratic legislation designed to make it harder for some folks to cast a ballot. So we need to work harder.
We’ll make more phone calls. We’ll knock on more doors. We’ll spread more information about how to cast a ballot. We’ll beat the GOP supermajority at their own, rigged game.
