The GOP’s majority in the House was already very narrow, friend, but it’s getting even narrower.

Whether it’s another resignation or retirement or a special election to fill a vacancy, their majority is dwindling. That means we have a real chance to flip the House this November. But that all starts with protecting our House Democrats.

One of those House Democrats is my longtime friend Gerry Connolly. Gerry and I joined Congress together in 2008 and since then, have proudly worked alongside each other every day to deliver for Virginians.

Whether he’s working to improve efficiency at our postal offices, protecting access to meals for Virginia’s students at the height of the pandemic, or securing funding to improve our transportation networks, Gerry frankly keeps the Commonwealth up and running.

And he’s good at it, too. He was named one of the most effective lawmakers of the 117th Congress.
