John,
Yesterday, I wrote to you about why I am running for Congress. Among the reasons is the blatant disregard and disrespect that my opponent, Congressman Troy Balderson (R-OH), has for both his constituents and district. Today I’d like to go into a bit more depth:
When you look up used car salesmen in the Oxford dictionary, they describe the term as, “the stereotype of a used-car salesmen often found in jokes, cartoons etc. is that they are not sincere, honest or reliable.”
Before running for Congress, Balderson literally owned and managed a used car dealership where he lived up to the stereotype in every sense of the term.
Inheriting his family business, Balderson Motor Sales through nepotism rather than merit, Troy encouraged deceptive business practices and is alleged to have maintained a delicate balancing act of running massive debts.
Things finally came crashing down for Balderson Motor Sales when Troy was in his first term of Congress and Ohio’s Attorney General brought legal action against the dealership.
