Friends,
Being called a "radical" for supporting healthcare, livable wages, affordable housing, education, and childcare — from a campaign that encouraged an insurrection and supports locking up women's healthcare providers — is hilarious.
Here's our difference — I don't use false labels to create division and chaos. I focus on issues, facts, and solutions. So, this was my rebuttal:
________
Dearest Jack,
If you make it through your primary, I challenge you to a series of debates. We can have some dedicated to the so-called "radical left" agenda, and others focused on your proposed solutions, if you have any.
We can discuss your extreme stance on outlawing women’s healthcare, your opposition to the bipartisan border security bill, your no-vote on local manufacturing jobs, your misrepresentation of the infrastructure bill, or your attempt to take credit for the Soo Locks despite voting against its funding.
I won't even belabor your involvement in Jan. 6 or your assault on Democracy if it encourages you to participate.
We can hold these town halls anywhere in Northern Michigan or the UP. If you're not familiar with a town or location, I can help you find it.
Many of us are curious about your plan to privatize Medicare and Social Security. We can dedicate a whole discussion to highlight the whopping three laws you passed in four terms. We're all eager to learn about the two buildings you renamed.
Jack, you've never faced a second-time challenger. It's natural to feel nervous. Perhaps you're upset that I’m outraising you in contributions from the 1st District. I understand. But, if you can find the courage, let's allow the people of Northern Michigan and the UP to decide who's truly "radical".
Sincerely,
Bob

Friends, what do you think? Can you chip in again quick and help me defeat Bergman's foolishness?
Onward,
-Bob
