Rising temperatures, bigger storms, and asphalt schoolyards pose significant risks during recess. Did you know 28 million children lack close-to-home access to the outdoors? TPL’s Community Schoolyards® projects are making recess safer, greener, and more enjoyable, bringing kids and their communities vital green spaces with natural climate resilient features. And right now, your support of Community Schoolyards® projects and all TPL’s work will be doubled in honor of Earth Day, up to $250K, until midnight April 22.
