On Tuesday April 23rd, our friends at The Elite OC will hold their annual Halo Hangout at Angels Stadium. This marquee event begins at 5pm with a networking hour, before shifting over to premium seats to watch the game as a group and cheer on our Angels. Proceeds from this event will benefit Project Youth OC, which provides education and mentoring to at-risk youth to keep them safe, healthy, and in school. Consider registering for an incredible night of networking with fellow young professionals, watching the game, and giving back to the community by supporting an excellent cause. On Thursday April 25th at 6:30pm, the Los Angeles Young Republicans will have their monthly meeting. The event will take place at El Cholo Cafe In Pasadena, and will feature Tiffany Martin, Executive Director for Care Net Women’s Resource Center. Located in Lancaster, Care Net provides confidential and cost-free services to women facing unplanned pregnancies. In honor of Mother’s Day, LACYR will be launching a donation and collection drive to support Care Net and their work in helping mothers facing unplanned pregnancy.
