I want to address the recent events unfolding in Israel.
Iran's bold attack marks a major escalation of tension in the Middle East. The assault, which began on Saturday evening and lasted for about five hours, shook Israeli cities like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem with explosions and air raid sirens.
Reports suggest that Iran launched over 120 ballistic missiles, 170 drones, and more than 30 cruise missiles in this attack. While the majority of these were intercepted thanks to the efforts of Israel and its allies, there were still some casualties and damage caused.
In the face of this unwarranted aggression, we must stand in unwavering solidarity with Israel. We cannot stand idly by and allow such attacks to continue. It's critical that we demonstrate our unequivocal support for Israel.
I'm committed to advocating for strong support and assistance to Israel during these challenging times.
