This morning, a 40-year politician announced his campaign to challenge me in Wisconsin’s First Congressional District.

You might be asking, who is Peter Barca?

He’s a career politician who first ran for office in 1984 and has repeatedly supported policies that hurt families in Wisconsin. 

He voted to raise the gas tax, and didn’t use the money to build roads and bridges.

He voted to protect sanctuary cities in Wisconsin, which allow municipalities to ignore federal immigration laws.

Right now, prices are rising for hard-working families in Wisconsin and there’s a crisis at our southern border that’s allowing illegal drugs to flow into our communities.  

He’s wrong on the issues. And he’s wrong for Wisconsin.

But he’s going to have an unlimited amount of resources from National Democrats and dark money groups.

Dark money groups have already spent $2.2 million attacking me.

Now that Peter Barca has announced his campaign, they’re going to spend millions more attacking me.
