In her latest assault on abortion rights, MAGA Senator Martha Blackburn attacked Griswold v. Connecticut — the 1965 Supreme Court ruling that legalized birth control, stating that this landmark case is “constitutionally unsound”.

This backwards statement isn’t fringe for MAGA Republicans. Trump’s administration severely limited access to birth control from Americans who relied on the Affordable Care Act for healthcare, and he continues to brag about overturning Roe v. Wade to this day. His legacy is emboldening far-right politicians like Marsha Blackburn — and we can’t let them get their way.
