It's State Representative (and Democratic House Whip) Stephanie Sawyer Clayton. I'll get straight to the point.

If right-wing conservatives continue pushing their anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric in the State Legislature, Kansans WILL die.

At the beginning of this month, far-right extreme legislators passed another bill that enforces more government mandates on Kansans. This bill banned crucial, medically necessary healthcare for transgender Kansans and dictated to parents how to best raise their own children.

While Governor Kelly was able to veto this bill, extremists in the legislature are clear that they will use their supermajorities in the House and Senate to overturn her veto. We HAVE to break those Supermajorities to protect the rights of our trans youth. Can you pitch in today to help us elect more people-first Democrats to the legislature?

It's not only the legislature: our extreme Attorney General, Kris Kobach, has repeatedly used his position to target the transgender community. 

This isn't the first time, nor will it be the last time Kansans will suffer at the hands of their own representatives if we don't work together to take down those supermajorities.
