The Democratic Party
-----------------------
Samuel --

My mom became a U.S. citizen in 1995.

At the time, I didn't realize what a big deal it was for her to become
an American and give up her Indian citizenship -- but I remember how
proud she was to take her citizenship test and say the same pledge of
allegiance that I recited every day at school.

There are millions of immigrants who share a similar story to my mom
-- people who love this country and embrace it as their own. Yet the Trump
administration is hell-bent on pushing the false message that immigrants
are a threat to our country and should be kept out.

That is one of the many challenges we face this year. It's going to take a
ton of work to cut through the noise and talk directly with voters about who
this party stands for -- immigrants, people of color, working people... the list
goes on.

To get our message out, the DNC has set an ambitious goal of reaching 50
million people by November -- that's roughly the number of Democrats we
need to vote in a midterm election in order to take back Congress. Reaching that
many voters is expensive, and it will take serious investment. One of the best
ways to do support that work is by making a monthly sustaining donation to
mobilize voters this year.

Make a $3 monthly sustaining contribution to support the DNC's efforts to
reach 50 million people this year and help get them to the polls:

Over the past year and a half, the Trump administration and Republicans have
tried to pass multiple Muslim bans, tear immigrant families apart, and destroy
DACA. They've emboldened white supremacists and have generally acted as if
immigrants and people of color are somehow worthy of less dignity than everyone else.

This election is our chance to end this madness -- but we can't do that unless we
hit our goal of reaching 50 million voters by November. It's a bold plan to move our
country forward -- and frankly we won't get there without your support.

If you can, start a monthly sustaining contribution of $3 today and together we will
mobilize a record number of voters between now and November:
