I Took A Pledge

Friend - On Tax Day, this past Monday, April 15, I stood before the Federal Building in Lansing to sign Americans for Tax Reform’s Taxpayer Protection Pledge.

Americans are paying too much in taxes for diminishing services, while Washington politicians keep coming up with new spending programs, driving up our national debt to $35 trillion - $105,000 for every man, woman, and child in the country!

President Biden’s new budget has a $1.8 trillion deficit and he and House Democrats are proposing trillions in new taxes to pay for it.

My opponent is one of the biggest tax raisers in Michigan history, including support for a 45¢ per gallon gas tax increase which would drive gas prices in Michigan over $4.35 per gallon. He was also the architect of the biggest spending bill in state history. We simply can’t afford another big spender-big taxer in Congress.

This out-of-control spending is driving up inflation and making it ever harder for families to make ends meet - let along get ahead.

I hate to add to that by asking for a donation to my campaign but if we lose, you can expect even higher taxes, higher gas prices, higher grocery prices, higher insurance premiums, and worsening quality of life.

I’ve pledged to fight any new taxes or new spending and when I get to Washington I will vote to cut our deficit, pay down our debt, and put America back on track.

But I need you to pledge to do what you can with a donation of $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, $250, or $500 to help us raise the money we need to win in November.

PS - My opponent is Gretchen Whitmer’s hand-picked candidate and he raised an eye-popping $1.3 million last quarter with her help. In fact, he received $532,000 from New York donors alone. I need your help.
