It’s true that 24 states and the District of Columbia have legalized marijuana for adult use — and we should celebrate the fact most Americans have some form of legal access.
But thousands of people are still in state and federal prison for marijuana-related violations.
You and I both know they should be free.
That’s why we all need to keep up the fight, Friend. It’s time to end the federal prohibition of marijuana and provide relief for those whose lives have been destroyed by criminalization.
Momentum is on our side, and it’s time to keep pushing. But this work is not easy, and it requires critical funding to ensure that we can keep pushing local and national lawmakers to finally do the right thing.
Please do your part today, Friend. Show the advocates with me here in D.C. that you stand with us from wherever you are, especially when your gift will immediately DOUBLE in impact.
Thank you for your partnership and solidarity. Together, we can—and will—continue to make real change.
