I have taken to calling the mainstream media the “propaganda press” because
their primary job seems to be to advance a leftwing narrative on virtually
every topic in the news. This is especially true on all things Trump.

Frenzied headlines across the country have screamed that I have already been
disbarred from the practice of law in California. Though I am facing a very
difficult situation, the reports of the death of my legal career are greatly
exaggerated.

The Cal Bar court only has the power to recommend disbarment and my legal team
is fighting as hard as humanely possible to prevent that from happening.

The ultimate decision whether to accept the California Bar Court’s disbarment
recommendation lies with the California Supreme Court. In the meantime, though,
the recommendation triggered an automatic placement on "involuntary inactive
enrollment" status.

My team has already filed a motion to stay, or put on hold, pending appeal the
“involuntary inactive enrollment” placement. This is critically important
because without a stay in place I will not be able to practice law and earn an
income as a lawyer in California. Absent a stay, the judge’s ruling means I
will be severely hampered in raising the funds necessary to defend myself.

But the “involuntary inactive” placement damages more than just me – it
damages all of my clients who are in need of my services as a constitutional
expert and zealous advocate.

That is a critical objective of the lawfare abuse that I am facing.

Not only does the left want to punish me for representing President Trump,
they want to send a signal to other lawyers that taking on the establishment
could be ruinous. They also want to make it extremely difficult for individuals
and groups who seek to challenge governmental power and the deep state to find
a highly-skilled attorney willing to represent them.

Help Me Fight This Lawfare Abuse

In addition to seeking to stay the disbarment recommendation, we also are
preparing a vigorous appeal of the entire State Bar process, which was a
travesty of justice on so many levels.

While we do that, the criminal RICO case is proceeding in Fulton County,
Georgia under the ethically challenged DA, Fani Willis. And Jack Smith’s
pending case against former President Trump in Washington DC is still
proceeding, into which I may be dragged. Smith has already named me an
“unindicted co-conspirator.”

All of this points to the extreme difficulty that my family and I are facing.
We’ve exhausted the nearly $3/4 million that has been donated to my legal
defense fund by generous supporters like you. And now we are looking at
incurring an estimated $2 million inadditional legal bills to deal with the
appeal in California, the trial in Georgia and the numerous other lawfare
attacks against me.
