Accessibility and transparency are our guiding stars when it comes to building and scaling our campaign operation, John. And while our team will continue to update you on the new steps we’re taking to grow our digital operation, I first (and more importantly) want to take a moment to check in with you during this difficult period. These trying times have underscored the imperative of supporting one another -- whether that means calling a neighbor, fighting for affordable health care for all, or bolstering social safety nets. That’s why, on behalf of everyone on Team Long, I want to hear how you’re doing. John, will you take a moment to write to us and let us know?
As our team continues to safely social distance and run an entirely online operation, I want to ensure that the work we’re doing properly meets the moment. John, I’ve been entirely amazed by the innovative ways that folks are staying involved with our campaign and with volunteer opportunities -- and I’m confident that the collective courage of Southwest Washingtonians will carry us through these trying times. But the fact is that these times are trying. So, John, it would mean a lot if you’d take a moment to let our team know how you’re doing and how we’re doing to serve you during these times.
