Patriot,

Last week, under Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), the U.S. House didn’t pass a simple renewal of warrantless mass surveillance under FISA.

The House-passed FISA bill didn’t just reauthorize warrantless mass surveillance – it massively expanded it.

Right now, the government can compel Big Tech companies like Facebook, Google, Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, T-Mobile, etc. to fork over your private, personal communications.

And the Spy State apologists in Congress will tell you it was all “legally acquired.”

But “thanks” to an amendment spearheaded by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-OH) and Ranking Member Jim Himes (D-CT), now anyone with access to a wi-fi router, server, or a phone’s hot spot – could be ordered to help the government spy on law-abiding Americans.

That could mean any business, from your local Starbucks to the airport . . . or you personally, if you allow others to use your Internet connection.

According to one source:

Now, there is a mad rush to pass this odious expansion of government spying powers.

The Deep State wants this radical expansion passed NOW – before any more people realize what Mike Johnson, Mike Turner, Jim Himes, and the bill supporters in the U.S. House actually did.

They know the American people are FED UP with warrantless mass surveillance. And they know people will be FURIOUS when they find out Congress didn’t just fail to stop it – they’re voting to renew and radically expand it!

And the Deep Staters will tell you they lose their spying powers if this doesn’t pass by Friday. They’ll tell you our lives are in danger. And they are all lies.

The Senate will take its first vote on the FISA legislation TODAY. That’s why it’s so critical you call your senators right now, even if you’ve called them on this in the past.

Call both of your U.S. Senators now at (202) 224-3121 and tell them to OPPOSE H.R. 7888, the warrantless mass surveillance expansion bill.

By now, they all know about this bill, so you don’t need to explain it to them. You just need to DEMAND they VOTE NO.

We know bipartisan opposition to this extreme bill is growing, with senators from both sides of the aisle demanding a warrant requirement and the end to spy agencies purchasing data they would otherwise need a warrant to access.

Today is the day the rubber meets the road.

Call your U.S. Senators at (202) 224-3121 right now. Tell them to OPPOSE H.R. 7888, the warrantless mass surveillance expansion bill.

If you cannot call them, please take just 30 seconds to sign a directive that we can deliver electronically.

And if you can, please support Campaign for Liberty with a contribution to help us fight this battle in the Senate.

With your support, we can reach even more people and generate even more calls, emails, and e-postcards before it’s too late.

So if possible, please make your EMERGENCY contribution to Campaign for Liberty right away.

Whether it’s $100, $200, or even just $50 or $25, every bit will help us generate more pressure.

For Liberty,

John McCardell
Executive Director

P.S. Today, the Senate will take up warrantless mass surveillance of Americans.

Renewal of FISA and Section 702 are on the line. While champions of liberty like Senator Rand Paul will fight in every way they can, we need to keep the phones ringing and petitions pouring into your senators.

Call both your U.S. Senators at (202) 224-3121 and tell them to vote NO on H.R. 7888, the warrantless mass surveillance bill.

Tell them to stop spying on innocent Americans and to respect the 4th Amendment!

After you’ve called, please make a generous donation so we can keep up the fight and to help us win the battle in this critical moment!
