4. You'll power work that's protecting public lands from fossil fuel threats. Our most ecologically critical and culturally significant landscapes are already facing the dangerous threats of climate change and overdevelopment – and now Congress is debating multiple anti-environment bills that would gut safeguards for millions of acres of public land. We need to fight back now, while keeping up the pressure on the Biden administration to designate additional national monuments around the country so that more crucial ecosystems are protected.

State laws in the Northern Rockies region allow hunters to use snaring, baiting, night shooting, and other cruel tactics to kill these vulnerable animals. The Sierra Club is fighting to restore critical endangered species protections for imperiled wolves, and working to defeat dangerous legislation that would push more threatened wildlife to the brink of extinction. We're pushing back by rallying local activists in support of offshore wind projects and other sources of renewable energy, organizing volunteers to turn clean energy investments into progress at the local level, and much more – but we need you with us to keep this vital work going.
