To report this investigation, Carr and Jordan combed through hundreds of pages of text messages submitted as evidence in an ongoing legal fight involving the former studio owner, Ryan Millsap. As Millsap formed prominent relationships with Black leaders and Jewish colleagues in Atlanta, court documents submitted by his former attorney allege he privately expressed racist and antisemitic views.
