John,
I just wanted to be sure you saw Alyssa's announcement this morning. A multimillionaire hedge fund manager spent millions to put 2117 on the November ballot. If it passes, 2117 would repeal our state's transformative climate progress. Today, a campaign launched to protect our health, air and water, forests and farmland, jobs, and transportation investments here in the Evergreen State and defeat 2117.
The No on 2117 campaign — a growing, unprecedented statewide coalition of business and environmental leaders, Tribal nations, families, medical professionals, labor unions and community organizations — is ready for this fight. Click here to pledge to vote NO on 2117 today. [[link removed]]
If 2117 passes, it will repeal the one tool we all have to require that the state’s biggest polluters pay to pollute. Don’t let them off the hook. Because the bill for pollution and climate change will be left to you, to me, to our communities, and to the folks who can least afford it.
Join us today to pledge to vote NO on 2117. [[link removed]]
Let’s defeat 2117 in November,

The No on 2117 campaign launches today! I’m writing to invite you to join Washington Conservation Action and our members in pledging to vote NO on Initiative 2117.
Here’s why: This initiative would set back the transformational progress we’re making to address the damage caused by burning dirty fossil fuels. Our state’s cap-and-invest climate law, the Climate Commitment Act (CCA), is a model for the nation. A right-wing multimillionaire is single-handedly trying to reshape Washington state's laws and repeal the CCA.
If I-2117 passes this November, it will let polluters off scot-free.
If I-2117 passes this November, it shifts the costs of greenhouse gas emissions to people like you and me.

E&E News says that aside from the presidential race, “This referendum could be the year’s most important climate election."
Thanks for standing with us and No on 2117 to protect our progress.
Let’s defeat 2117 in November,
