Have you been following Donald Trump’s trial? It really is wild stuff.

I want to share my thoughts with you today, but first I want to know: Are you watching coverage of Trump’s trial? [[link removed]]

YES [[link removed]] NO [[link removed]]If you aren’t paying close attention, here’s a quick recap of what happened so far. It has been a crazy few days in court. First the judge ruled against Trump by allowing a transcript of the Access Hollywood tape into evidence. Then jury selection began and half of them immediately walked out because they couldn’t be fair or impartial. (The biggest worry is that someone could get on this jury who already has their mind made up.) Trump apparently nodded off a few times. By the end of day two, seven jurors were selected.

Look, this is an incredibly important case for our country. For the first time in history, a former United States President will face a criminal trial.

The fact of the matter is, the results of this trial will have major implications for our democracy no matter what the verdict is. We cannot allow a convicted felon to become the next President of the United States.
