Let's defeat Ilhan Omar and President Biden     New Poll Finds Minnesota is a Swing State Dear John,  Did you hear the news? When you hear the term battleground state in the national media, few think of Minnesota. After all, Minnesota hasn’t voted for a Republican presidential candidate since 1972. But a recent poll sponsored by KSTP/SurveyUSA shows Trump trailing Biden by just 2% in Minnesota! You read that right. Biden is at 44% while Trump is at 42%. The poll also showed that 11% prefer another candidate, while 4% remain undecided. This is the third poll in row that shows a narrowing gap between Biden and Trump in Minnesota. My race against the progressive firebrand, Ilhan Omar, not only has implications for the Twin Cities and the balance of power in the U.S. Congress. It has major implications for who will be our next president. Trump’s lead over Biden is more pronounced outside Minneapolis and St. Paul—Minnesota’s 5th and 4th Congressional Districts. The former president leads by 13% in southern Minnesota, by 28% in western Minnesota, and by 8% in the northeast portion of the state. It’s no surprise that Biden polls better in the Twin Cities metro area but only 49% of voters are with Biden. In the 2020 election, Biden outperformed Ilhan Omar in MN-5 by 16%. In 2016, Trump only lost to Hillary Clinton by just 1.5%. We know it can be done! There are plenty of votes in my district for me to defeat Ilhan Omar and help Trump defeat Biden so we can take back our country! Minnesota is in play in 2024. BUT I CAN'T DO THIS ALONE.
