Friend, I'll level with you — sending these fundraising emails isn’t my favorite part of the job. Don’t get me wrong — I mean every word I write asking for your support because Michigan is one of the most crucial swing states in the 2024 election. But believe me, I get it. Waking up to an inbox full of subject lines with words like “URGENT” or “BAD NEWS” can be overwhelming, to say the least. I also get that, after almost a decade of Donald Trump, it can be exhausting to hear that we're about to have the most important election of our lifetime and have it be true. But in that decade, I've learned a few things about resilience and the power of grassroots energy here in Michigan. Most importantly, I've learned that our work between now and Election Day will significantly impact our future. So it's time to get to work. It's time to defend our freedoms from Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans. That said, I have to be honest with you—despite all our hard work, April has been our worst fundraising month of 2024. We urgently need your help to close the gap and maintain momentum. Every contribution matters, and with your help, I know we can stop Donald Trump and keep our U.S. Senate blue. Thank you for everything you've done and continue to do. Our fight isn't over, and with your support, we can keep Michigan moving forward! In gratitude, Debbie ![]()
