John,
The Affordable Connectivity Program was passed in 2021 to help low-income households afford internet access. This program has been wildly successful, reaching one in four Black and Latino households with nearly half of military families also enrolled.1
And, even as Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to bring bipartisan legislation to the floor for a vote, 29% of his own constituents are enrolled in the program.2
Before funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program runs out this month, which will result in millions of people losing access to the internet and potentially losing critical access to work, education, health care, and more, we need Congress to act.
That’s why one of the lead sponsors of the Affordable Connectivity Program Extension Act, Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke (NY-09), will file a discharge petition in the coming days to try and force a vote on this legislation in the House this month.
Click here to write to your members of Congress and urge them to renew funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program before funding runs out this month!

Internet access is such an essential part of modern life that Congress must do everything in its power to ensure that everyone has access.
Thank you for taking action today,
