Hey John,
My name is Kelsey Jackson and I’m the Chief Financial and Administrative
Officer here at Women’s March.
I’m going to keep it real with you.
We have been cooking with gas this spring, with thousands of feminists
taking part in our actions, protests, and trainings. That’s the good
news.
[ [link removed] ]The bad news is that we have a lot of amazing work in the pipeline, but
we are still $30,000 behind our fundraising goal for April.
Here's what we're cooking up:
1) On March 26: we put SCOTUS on notice that the people will not stand for
them banning medication abortion.
2) On April 23rd: We are back on SCOTUS’s case to shine a light on the
emergency medical act– women don’t deserve to die seeking medical care in
states where there are immoral abortion bans.
3) On April 25th: SCOTUS again! We will remind them in no uncertain terms
that Americans want accountability for Trump’s criminal actions on January
6 before this year’s election.
4) Knock Your Block: We're mobilizing feminists across the country,
equipping them with the critical conversation skills, tools and strategies
needed to encourage neighbors to vote this November and making it clear
that supporting Trump isn't an option.
But I’m concerned when I take a look at our ActBlue page and see this:

I’m obviously VERY excited about all the amazing things we’ve got on the
docket as we head into next month. And this doesn't include our ongoing
programming (Digital Defenders, Feminist Futures Education Series, Third
Space Coalition Building, etc.).
We have more work than ever, at a time when fundraising has been extremely
difficult across the movement. Women’s March has persevered, however,
because of our ride or die base.
[ [link removed] ]That’s why I’m reaching out to you again, John. Will you
please consider chipping in $20.24 right away so that our spring
programming budget doesn’t take a hit?
(If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your
donation will go through immediately.)
