Quite simply I've spent my life working to alleviate human suffering. It's my life's work, it's my passion and it's that mindset I want to bring to Congress.
This is who I am and this is what I've done:
1) Helped to end genocides, mass atrocities and human trafficking
2) Assisted families who lost loved one's after the terrorist attack on 9/11
3) Provided aid to asylum seekers and immigrants along the southern border
4) Helped children with life-threatening illnesses
5) Given comfort and aid to families impacted by the mass shooting in El Paso
6) Provided shelter and comfort to those impacted by Hurricanes Katrina and Harvey
7) Delivered humanitarian assistance to communities in the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
It's time we sent a different kind of person to the House of Representatives. We need individuals in Congress who put people over profit, kindness over cruelty and humanity over hatred.
Can I count on you to help me make that happen?
